Metal and Rock In A Wrong World (Rant)

From time to time, I like to stay in solitude, away from the city, away from the retards that live in this city, away from the stress and away from my family just to fall in the depths of my mind, to think, to judge, and to find the answers to some questions that until now, I did not have the knowledge to do so nor the wisdom.

I consider myself a fan of rock/metal music. I do not consider myself a person that follows the cult of Satan, even though some people prefer to raise their eyebrows when they hear about my musical preferences. Is it wrong if we want to be different than the "ignorant herd"? Is it wrong that we want to find something that offers us pleasure? Is it wrong if we indulge ourselves in art? The world we live in now is becoming more and more desperate. Slowly but surely most of us feel a deep despair in our hearts and souls because everyone has something that they regret not doing, or that they regret that they've done it, or that they regret that they did not have the possibility to do it. This is where rock and metal music starts to take shape. Rock music is not something that everyone can understand. This type of music is especially pioneered by people that first of all have moral values that they deeply respect and second of all, they have a decent education (not quite necessarily but to give quality, you need this, because rock music consists of concepts, of ideas, you need to be a creator in order to do something creative).

Talent comes afterwards because in this world there are two kinds of people: people that are born with the talent to do something and people that prefer to waste that talent to pursue something despite the fact that they waste the gift bestowed upon them before their birth. Surely, people that play this kind of music might've been influenced by their life style, by society, by their family life and also, why not, by some traumas as well. A human mind that experienced life in a certain degree is more attracted to metal and rock than persons that either wished to close their eyes when facing some obstacles or some events or did not have the time to experience all those events.

The question is, why does rock/metal music is so unappreciated and so misunderstood? Clearly, the first answer is that the persons that claimed these two issues, are just people that are not familiar with this music genre and they rather prefer to come up with a conclusion rashly instead of actually experience it. True, to a certain degree though. However, I claim that these kinds of people are either blind, stupid or simply, not mature enough to know that you should not judge a book by its cover.

The world of rock music is a mysterious world. Happiness, sorrow, lust, violence, death, deception, betrayal, admiration, innocence, arrogance, rudeness, truthfulness, calmness and many more adjectives can be felt by listening to this kinds of music. You feel as if it is a person whispering in your ears, something that stuff like society, religion, adults and all sorts of other people could not actually tell you. Rock and metal are genres which appeal for those that can understand it, for those that want to discover, for those that are sick and tired of this world, of people, of society, of religion and of all the things that have just one purpose that define their existence, controlling the masses and taming those that oppose it or roughly put, cast them aside.

I don't know how many of you guys actually listen to this kind of music but if when I listen to it, I feel like I actually live it. I feel strength, a strength that gently gets under my skin, it is a sort of medicine, for the stress caused by mundane life, it is a way to relax, and the most important thing, the gate that opens a path to freedom. The people that do this music are there because they wanted to. They do the music they want because they like it and because they respect their values and they wish to put them in sounds and words in order for us, the "ungrateful bastards" to listen and appreciate their views. I feel jealousy sometimes, because these people are what today we call, "free" people. Doing what you like for yourself and then for other by ignoring the opinion that other people have about you and moving forward by being true to your own beliefs is in my opinion a thing worthy of our praises and a model for any human. And how do we repay them?

I do not have anything against those that listen to other genres, though from time to time I wonder how much can people stray from art and culture, or how much will they close their eyes with the truth lying in front of them. I am absolutely disgusted by the world I live in and even the things that bring me joy from time to time also provokes anger. I've been reading a sort of article about a stupid priest wannabe claiming that rock music is for people that have lost their way in life, that could only feel sorrow, despair and grief and the most unbelievable of all things, that rock and metal music is satanic and not in particular cases but this is a generalization.

This person pissed me off so bad that I sent a 5000 words email and shove it in his ass maybe he would die a painful death worthy of a blinded christian. I hate people that follow a cult so blindly and especially christians that are so full of the systems. They don't realize that they actually are controlled by this malicious human product and it is only an illusion to satisfy our own desire to know what happens after death.

Since science can't and I doubt that it will ever be able to explain why do people die and what happens after death of course that religion wins. But don't we wonder once in our life if christianity or any other religion actually tells the truth? Supposed it is true what they are saying, where is the evidence? We live in world where trust needs to be earned, and not through petty arguments but through strong facts that can claim strongly that something is true. Religion does not, it ruthlessly tries to control us, it tries to force the spoon in our throats so that we can swallow whatever bullshit they come up with. This person is full of the system, he does not realize that he is controlled by it and the freedom which was bestowed upon him was stolen from him.

Though rock and metal do present some satanic elements, those elements are mostly used for the sake of art and not to compromise with the church's will. Art is sacred, and we humans are creators, we create art, we develop it, we improve it and we give ourselves a meaning through it. It represents us and for some us, it is more than just what I mentioned, it represents our identity even our life. Rock for me, is my life without it, it would never be the same, its like, you erase my memory and once it is restored you feel that a part of you is missing, the part that gave meaning to your life. This person could not understand that the system that controls him so that he can manipulate others, called religion has the same meaning that has rock to us, our identity, our own life meaning, our existence.

Claiming that this music makes people become more violent is also bullshit. Religion was always violent and intolerable with those that they considered different or with those that shared other ideas, conceptions and beliefs. I consider religion a perpetrator, because it destroyed beautiful and fascinating civilizations, cultures, traditions, beliefs and so many other things that we today try our best to understand. A religion that is a facade, this is what christianity is, claiming something, but in the end, doing the opposite.

Makes you wonder why this world is so wrong? Religion of all kind, can make people do absolutely horrible things. Muslims are a big example, what does a religion that controls people can do. Some beliefs that were deeply implanted into some people turned into what we call today terrorism. Because of religion we live in terror, because of religion we do not know if the person near us does not have a bomb ready to blow up by sacrificing his/hers life for an illusion and also taking the lives of innocent people all for a system that all it does is to tell lies and to control.

Christianity is even worse and it would take me days to actually uncover all the evil deeds it has done. Wars, conflicts, assassinations, persecutions all these horrors were the church's doing and for what, for some some bullshit that we don't know if it is true or not.

I am approaching the end of the rant. One thing I got to mention now is about the society we live in contrast with metal and rock. From time to time, I find myself watching a music channel on television, or listening to some radio posts. Other times I go to parties and I wonder how long will it take for those people that spend their life in clubs until they become like rabbits or other kinds of animals that do nothing other than jumping, moving their feet and their body. I don't know, but music first of all should be an art and after that a source of pleasure.

The media also seems to misunderstand what rock means. You actually claim that you want to search and show to the world the worth of a rock band but you actually show a band that only knows how to produce music that proves to be a money machine and the artistic quality is no where to be found. Yet you claim that the band is exceptional, well I got to say, that is bullshit. Sales, ratings, views and fan-base does not bring quality but unfortunately it does bring success and this is another issue which in my book stands as another reason for "why I hate this fucking world"?

To end this gorgeous and delicious rant, I want to say some final words. Fuck you world with all the retards you've been supporting with air and I hope you will taste the depths of hell for eternity, fuck you society and I hope another Hitler will be born and also fuck you religion and I hope you will burn in hell with all your bullshit!
