Summary: After a treaty has been signed to prevent war, Tina and Princess Rita started traveling again. This time, it is to find the murderer of Tina's family and village when she was a child to have her revenge. But the war has not really ended yet as there is more than meets the eye.... Once again Tina and Rita embark on a journey, what obstacles will they face this time?
And here we are with the second season of Sisters of Wellber. It did not take that long since I wanted to wrap this up today at any costs. Hope that you guys won't be driven mad by the attractive picture I posted above but if it does and it will motivate you to read this review, then be my guests.
A bit of a warning for those that do not know the events that took place during the first season, don't read this review if you do not know about the first season, I think it's common sense. This time our two heroines emerged victorious, the war has been avoided, the armistice between the two kingdoms, with Greedom's king as a negotiator, the peace in the land has been restored.
Rita has accomplished the task that her father bestowed upon her and now she has to return back to Wellber and live the life that she experienced before meeting Tina. However, Tina manages to "kidnap" her to prevent her departure to Wellber and once again together with Borgerac, Sherri, Tina and two other companions, Galahad, once the most trustful ally of the former Sangatras prince now a betrayer and Jin, Tina's old theft companion, they set up for another journey this time in order to pursue Tina's revenge.
During the first season, Tina expressed her desire to travel to Greedom in order to gather information about the one who murdered her family during the great war. However, will she be able to accomplish her goal since she never actually killed someone in her life?
In this season the focus changes as well. This time, Galahad gets a more important role in the story, becoming the main male lead thus the beginning of a romance subplot as well. Eventually both Rita and Tina will start to root feelings for the man that has to protect them both but who will Galahad chose? Does he love one of them, or he just wants to maintain a platonic type of relationship? How about Rita? Will she be able to cast aside the social differences between her and Galahad and be true to her own feelings?
While the first season managed to follow a single plot line without much problems, the second season promises two plot lines, Tina's revenge and the love triangle between Galahad, Tina and Rita. Question is, will the friendship between Tina and Rita remain intact after the appearance of a third wheel or will it just break like nothing existed?
In terms of animation and sound, nothing changed from what it was in the first season. The producers and staff remained the same, so nothing new. This season is worth watching mostly for the new plot lines and for the character development. Simply put, those that liked the first season, should not miss the second one, as it promises more and you might receive more than you expected.
