Summary: Momo is a high school girl with peach-coloured tanned skin and red hair, giving off the impression of being an all too easygoing girl. This impression is false though, and Momo often suffers under this misconception, especially since here classmates do not understand her true self. By contrast the pale-skinned, delicate-looking Sae is actually a scheming, manipulative girl, who enjoys stealing other girl's boyfriends.

Ever since middle school Momo has a secret crush on Toji, and Kairi, who is the most popular guy in school, is attracted to Momo. But with Sae around, what will become of these delicate relations?

Yet another romance. I am not ashamed to admit that I am a romance lover even though I am a guy. I like romance, I like almost any show that has it involved. Peach Girl was something that began well but went downhill in a very shoujo~ish way. You can literally call this a soap opera for idiots, especially after the second half.

The story centers on Adachi Momo, an athletic girl which by the looks gives an impression of an easygoing one, unlike her friend Sae. Momo is actually a good girl, not arrogant or sneaky and self-centered like her so called friend Sae. Sae is the type that would do anything just to steal Momo's happiness. She copies everything that Momo likes, does and claims that she herself came up with the idea. Being a good friend with the wrong person can turn to be a really bad thing, and that is Momo's greatest weakness.

While I pretty much enjoyed the beginning of this show and all the drama that revolved around Momo and her first love, Toji, I was suddenly disappointed to see this becoming a soap opera. Jumping from a guy to another just to suit her own big ego, Sae later will prove to be a pretty annoying type of an antagonist, even after learning that not everything goes her way.

Not only Sae became annoying, but Momo as well. Her indecisive way, caused her a lot of troubles and the lack of communication added to some mere misunderstandings lead to several failures in her love life. Sae played her part as an antagonist only until she experienced how it is when the one you love turns out to be the way you did not want to. After experiencing this, she realized how it was when she did the same things to Momo.

Until the end of the show, you might ask yourself if there was any logic in this anime. Well, if you happen to read this review, I will give you the answer, of course NOT. The only logic thing in all this mess was that a bunch of high school students with the brains of elementary school students were made as main leads only to rape our own brains. However, taking this aspect aside, for some moments, Peach Girl is worth watching and fortunately, they are not few (thank god).

Animation-wise, pretty poor, compared to the other 2 reviews I've done here, it goes downhill. The only thing that caught my eyes was again a sharp sense of fashion, especially in the character designs and clothes (talking especially about the feminine side). Sound-wise, does the word shoujo, tells you something? If it does, then you have an idea about the soundtracks and the background sounds as well.

You want a drama for idiots? Peach Girl is the choice. Romance fans might get a little bit subjective when it comes to giving this a mark that it deserves. Even I have a hard time. Without a doubt, it had some good things but also a share of bad (more exactly, annoying) issues but nevertheless, worth a watch. I think that the cast pretty much ruined this show, and I do believe that the personalities of the main leads were exaggerated.
